Description

The exhibition brings together the works of nearly 40 photographers from three generations of the Magnum Photos agency presented in two formats: a nine-screen video installation and an exhibition of photo books. The starting point of the show is the synthesis of the book and the photographic image – two of the most basic mediums for observing modernity and understanding human condition.

With Those Who Know Secret Things or Else Alone offers a unique opportunity to trace the trajectory of global development from the second half of the 20th century to the present. It draws upon the legacy of Magnum, founded in 1947 by its members with the mission of observing and documenting the evolution of the post-war world.
